What is my donation being used for?
Your donations are being used to fund experiments. EFFECTS does not believe in lecturing and therefore, provides exclusively hands-on learning. We would happy to go into more detail should you contact one of us.
Can I join if I'm not in High School?
You must be 16 to participate with EFFECTS. However, EFFECTS is open to anyone above the age of 16 looking to help out.
Can I join if I don't live in Albuquerque?
Unfortunately, EFFECTS operates in close connection with Albuquerque Public Schools making it near impossible for non-New Mexico residents to participate. At the moment, expanding beyond New Mexico does not align with our goals but expanding beyond Albuquerque Public Schools in more rural parts of New Mexico is a top priority. Please Reach out if you would like to inquire about this and you are a rural New Mexico resident or school affiliate.
